This specimen was lot 3474 in Stephen Album sale 38 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2020), where it did not sell. The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "[[Great Britain|GREAT BRITAIN]]: George V, 1910-1936, AR halfcrown, 1912, PCGS graded AU58." The silver half crown (2½ shillings) was struck in this fineness until 1920, when it was debased to .500 fine. The SCWC notes that the large mintages of World War One were accompanied by weak strikes.
