The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "[[Great Britain|GREAT BRITAIN]]. 1/2 Farthing, 1830. London Mint. George IV. PCGS Genuine--Environmental Damage, AU Details. Helmut break legend variety." This denomination was struck for George IV in 1828 and 1830. It was likely intended for colonial use and is now scarce. The SCWC states that the variety shown here, with Britannia's helmet interrupting "BRITANNIAR: REX", was struck only in proof for 1830.<br />
