The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "[[Switzerland, Geneva|GENEVA]]: Republic, BI 3 sols, 1776, a superb example, PCGS graded MS65." This type was struck 1763-66 and 1775-76. This is the only date with initials "IG". Twelve sols = florin, 12 florins, 9 sols = thaler = 153 sols. The silver issue was likely struck for presentation.<br />
