The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, <blockquote>"''SCHWEIZ Genf/Genève, Stadt und Kanton, 2 Quarts (1/2 Sol oder 6 Deniers) 1759, Genf. Silberabschlag. Selten. Gutes sehr schön.'' ([[Switzerland]], [[Switzerland, Geneva|canton of Geneva]], two quarts or half sol or six deniers of 1759, Geneva mint, struck in silver. Rare, Good Very Fine.)"</blockquote> This type is listed in the SCWC for 1754-56, 1759, 1762, 1765-66, 1769-70, 1775-76, 1785-88 as a six deniers. As the denomination is not marked on the coin, it is a debate not amenable to resolution. This is an available date but the silver presentation strikes are rare. One thaler was 96 sols and one sol was four quarts.
