([[Switzerland]], [[Switzerland, Geneva|canton of Geneva]], two quarts or six deniers of 1754, Geneva mint, struck in silver. Rare, Extremely fine, Attractively toned.)"</blockquote> This type was struck in billon and silver intermittently 1754-88. Twelve sols = florin, 12 florins, 9 sols = thaler = 153 sols. In 1794, a French-sponsored revolution which toppled the old oligarchy. <br />
