This specimen was lot 73345 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, November 2023), where it sold for $192. The catalog description[1] noted, "[[France|FRANCE]]. Ecu, 1740-9. Rennes Mint. Louis XV. PCGS VF-35. Some extensive adjustment marks are noted upon each side, along with a moderate degree of handling, but it nevertheless remains a charming survivor of the type."
