The East Caribbean States formed as a loose union of island nations in the Caribbean, all of which are former members of the [[British Caribbean Territories]] prior to its dissolution in 1965. The current full membership states are Antigua and Barbuda, [[Dominica]], Grenada, Montserrat, [[St. Kitts & Nevis]], St. Lucia, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Coins of the [[East Caribbean States]] continue to mix with those of the older [[British Caribbean Territories]] in circulation.<br />
