The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, <blockquote>"''DÄNEMARK, Frederik III. 1648-1670. Krone (4 Mark) 1667, Kopenhagen. Münzmeister Gotfred Krüger. Umschriften beidseitig im Uhrzeigersinn. Selten. Sehr schön. Kleine Schrötlingsfehler. Gotfred Krüger war von 1664 bis 1680 Münzmeister für Friedrich III. und Christian V. Wie Friedrich Caspar Herbach wurde auch Gotfred Krüger in einen Betrugsfall verwickelt, da er minderwertigere Münzen geprägt hatte.'' (kingdom of [[Denmark]], Frederick III, 1648-70, krone or four mark of 1667, Copenhagen mint. Inscriptions on both sides run clockwise. Rare, Very Fine, Minor flan flaws. Gotfred Krüger served as Master of the Mint for Frederick III and Christian V from 1664 to 1680.
