This five centavos was struck in Bogotá, [[Colombia]], of a type issued 1918-50. This type overlaps the later copper liberty cap type issued 1942-79. The earlier dates were struck at the Philadelphia mint, the later ones in Bogotá, leading to a flurry of repunched date varieties.
