The specimen shown was lot 1007 in Sedwick sale 11 (Winter Park, FL, April 2011), where it sold for $368. The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, <blockquote>"Bogotá, [[Colombia]], bust 1 real, Charles IV, 1792JJ, no dot in mintmark. VF with attractively toned legends, natural lamination flaw in front of face but no damage, with space but no dot between N and R of mintmark. Jorge Ortiz Murias collection of Colombian colonial minors."</blockquote> The SCWC lists eleven dates for Nuevo Reino between 1792-1804, all scarce.

Richly toned over luster with full rims, minor lamination flaws on obverse, not rare but among the nicest known for the date (superior to Eldorado's VF35).
