The specimen shown is a type struck in [[Chile]] in 1940. This type is the last of its denomination struck in copper-nickel. Oscar Roty's defiant condor, first used in 1895, appeared on virtually all Chilean silver and copper-nickel coins until 1940.&lt;br /&gt;
