This specimen was lot 3534 in Steve Album Auction 55 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2026), where it sold for $420. The catalog description&amp;lt;sup&amp;gt;[1]&amp;lt;/sup&amp;gt; noted, &amp;quot;[[Ceylon|CEYLON]]: George V, 1910-1936, AR 50 cents, 1914, nice luster, key date, NGC graded MS64, ex The 1914 Collection. Tied for finest graded at NGC and PCGS.&amp;quot; Ceylon attained her independence in 1948 after the British left India and is now known as Sri Lanka. This type was struck 1913-14 and 1917 in London. The superseding type was only 0.550 fine.&lt;br /&gt;
