This specimen was lot 20223 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Chicago, August 2019), where it sold for $2,640. The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "[[British Honduras|BRITISH HONDURAS]]. 50 Cents, 1911. NGC MS-63. A beautifully toned piece, RARE this fine, with glowing luster flashing from speckled breaks in the cabinet patina." This rare type was struck 1911 and [[British Honduras 1919 50 cents|1919]] only. The next 50 cents was issued in 1954 and bore the portrait of queen Elizabeth II.
