This specimen was lot 119 in Künker sale 400 (Berlin, February 2024), where it sold for €17,000 (about US$22,054 including buyer's fees). However, the hinterland formed the archbishopric of Bremen which persisted after the region converted to Lutheranism in the mid-1500's. Finally, as a consequence of the Thirty Years War, the state was secularized and handed over to the king of Sweden and ruled by him until 1719. This prelate was also bishop of Lubeck and Verden, both locales devoid of Catholics. This issue appears to be unlisted both in Davenport and the SCWC.
