This specimen was lot 3445 in Steve Album Auction 53 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2025), where it sold for $110. The catalog description[1] noted, "[[Bolivia|BOLIVIA]]: Carlos III, 1759-1788, AR real, Potosí, 1780-PTS, assayer PR, some luster, VF-XF." This is an example of a type struck 1773-89 at Potosi, Bolivia (then called Upper Peru). In 1786, the purity was reduced to 0.896 fine. It was replaced in 1791 by the bust of Charles IV. Harris[2] notes that Potosi one reales of Charles III are nearly tied with Mexico City as the commonest mint. Assayer PR is recorded for 1776-95. A 1780/79 overdate is reported.
