This specimen was lot 3837 in Künker sale 406 (Osnabruck, March 2024), where it sold for €13,000 (about US$17,057 including buyer's fees). The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, <blockquote>"''RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH, Maria Theresia, 1740-1780. Dukat 1743, Prag. Die gekrönte Kaiserin steht halbr. mit Schwert, mit der Rechten das Zepter schulternd, in der erhobenen Linken Reichsapfel//Gekröntes, vierfeldiges Wappen mit gekröntem böhmischen Mittelschild. GOLD. RR Fast vorzüglich.'' ([[Austria|Holy Roman Empire]], Maria Theresia, 1740-80, ducat of 1743, Prague mint. Obverse: the crowned empress stands half right with sword and scepter and orb; reverse: quartered arms with the crowned escutcheon of Bohemia. Very rare, about extremely fine.)"</blockquote> This type is noted for 1743-45 and is somewhat scarce. It is listed in the SCWC and Friedberg under Bohemia as the reverse design was used only at the Prague mint.
