The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, <blockquote>"''CONGO BELGE, Albert Ier (1909-1934), Cupro-nickel 1 franc, 1924 NL. Petite griffe au revers.'' ([[Belgian Congo]], Albert I, 1909-34, copper-nickel one franc of 1924, Dutch legends. Light scratch on the reverse, about Uncirculated.)"</blockquote> This type was struck 1920-30 with Dutch (shown here) and French legends (KM 20). This is a common date in circulated condition.
