This specimen was lot 49371 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2026), where it sold for $336. The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "[[Spain|SPAIN]]. Kingdom of Aragon. Obol, ND (1196-1213). Barcelona Mint. Pedro I. NGC MS-65. The only certified example on the NGC population report. From the Kyle Ponterio Collection." Peter was count of Barcelona and king of Aragon 1196-1213. His successor, [[Valencia (1238-76) dinero|Jaime I]], ruled until 1276. Cayón says this coin was struck in Barcelona after 1212 along with a dinero. The obverse says "BARCINONA" and the reverse "PETR REX".
