The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, <blockquote>"''REPUBLIK ÖSTERREICH, 1. Republik, 1918-1938. 100 Schilling 1930, Wien. 21,17 g Feingold. GOLD. Vorzüglich.'' (first republic of [[Austria]], 1918-38, one hundred schilling of 1930, Vienna mint. Extremely fine.)"</blockquote> The SCWC, which lists this type for 1926-34, does not price this coin except in uncirculated, suggesting that it spent its life in bank vaults before entering the collector market.
