This specimen was lot 74597 in Stack's Bowers May 2026 World Premier Collectors Choice Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, May 2026), where it sold for $512.40. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Quedlinburg. 2/3 Taler (Gulden), 1676-HAR. Anna Sophia. AU-50. A charming survivor with warm amber and russet toning. The first we have offered of the type. From the Greyhound Collection." The abbey, founded in the tenth century, was annexed by Prussia in 1803 during the mediatizations. The 1676 gulden of Quedlinburg are listed as follows:
- KM 54: bust obverse, arms reverse with date at top, initials AH or HAR, struck 1676-77;
- KM 61: bust obverse, arms reverse dividing the date, initials HAR or HIC;
- KM 63: bust obverse, arms reverse with date at top, initials GF;
- KM B52: monogram obverse, initials GF or HIC.
The coin shown in Numista for KM 54 is actually KM B52.
