Netherlands East Indies 1762 1/2 duit KM-112.1
This specimen was lot 75216 in Stack's Bowers May 2026 World Premier Collectors Choice Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, May 2026), where it sold for $195.20. The catalog description[1] noted, "NETHERLANDS EAST INDIES. Utrecht. Silver 1/2 Duit, 1762. Utrecht Mint. PCGS SPECIMEN-45." The copper version was struck at Utrecht 1752-58 and 1769-70 while the silver version was struck for presentation 1753-71 and 1793-94. Neither are rare. It was also produced at Holland (KM 72a), Westfriesland (KM 137) and Gelderland (KM 55a), among others.
