This specimen was lot 2279 in Goldberg sale 109 (Los Angeles, January 2019), where it sold for $192. The catalog description[1] noted, "Falkland Islands. 2 Pounds, 1997. Elizabeth II. Reverse: Henry VIII standing with shield to right and tudor rose below. Choice Brilliant Proof." This is from an extensive series (including KM 104-127) featuring various English monarchs. The series ran several years. It seems unlikely that any of the production actually made it to the islands.
Recorded mintage: unknown but all proofs.
Specification: 7.87 g, 0.583 fine gold, 24.9 mm diameter, 0.1475 ounce AGW.
