This type was struck in Chile 1908-11, 1913 and 1919-20. This ten centavos was first introduced in 1896 and was gradually debased until it was converted to copper-nickel in 1920. The production in 1919 was divided between this subtype and KM 155.3, which was 0.450 fine silver. It is common, tho varieties abound.

Recorded mintage: 1,494,000 including KM 155.3.

Specification: 1.0 g, 0.400 fine silver, 14 mm diameter.
