This specimen was lot 55637 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Pittsburgh, PA, August 2023), where it sold for $168. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Brunswick-Luneburg: Calenberg. 2/3 Taler, 1688. Zellerfeld Mint. Ernst August. About Uncirculated Details -- Cleaned. Crown with trefoils. From the Robert C. Knepper Collection. Includes ticket from Kuenker." This type was struck 1680-93 along with KM 315 (leaping stallion reverse).
